CAST

Tadaa (Michelle)

 

Tadaa began her entertainment path in Nashville, TN. She performed as part of the girl group "FatCat". They created outlets/platforms for artists and creatives, to display their gifts. She moved to New York in 2014, where she studied with The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. In addition to landing opportunities as a print model and spoken word artist, she has also coordinated/styled and modeled in fashion shows. As with most serious artists, she utilizes her passion for the arts to continuously hone her craft. She thanks her family and fiancé, for loving (and supporting) her uniqueness. She's most comfortable on stage, and is honored to perform in "What They'll Remember".

Rew Starr (Dr Erin Oakley)

 

Rew Starr has been a presence in The East Village Music Community, for years. Her song "You Suck", was featured on "Bad Girls Club" & voted Punk song of the Year, by Pirate Radio. She's appeared on the TLC show "Love, Lust or Run" (with Stacy London). She hosted the internet variety show "Rew and Who" for seven years. Most recently, she's been keeping busy doing indie film work. Her song "U Persued Me", won the Atlas Media Songwriting Contest. She is a core organizer and performer, for the "Girls Rock Girls Rule Tour" and the international MAMAPALOOZA Festival. She's performed at several festivals, such as SXSW, CMJ and Jazzfest. Clearly, she has a busy schedule, yet "What They'll Remember", is a production she is happy to prioritize.

Anita Purcell (Charley)

 

Anita is an actress and singer (with a powerful vocal range). Musically, she provides a wonderful mix of classical training & jazz improv. Theatrically, she's performed in the following productions: "Honestly Abe (Jesse), "Bare" (Sister Chantele). She's been featured in Operas, including "Marriage of Figaro (Barbarino) & "Trial by Jury" (The Jury). She's sung with Onaje Jefferson (From Israel and New Breed), Trey McLaughlin and the Sounds of Zamar, Davidson GRAMMY Ensemble- Sponsored by The Recording Academy, Governor's Honors Program Jazz Band, Augusta Chorale, Creative Impressions Performing Arts Group & Columbus State University Chorale. She now lends her talent to "What They'll Remember".

Nandanie Devi (Taylor)

 

Nandanie Devi earned degrees in theater and dance, from Lehman College. She's represented by: About Artist Agency- Renee Glicker. She's had lead roles in "One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest" (Nurse Ratched), "The Missnthrope" (Celimene), "A Midsummer Night (Hermia) & "She Rose from Cracked Pavements" (The Web-series). Her off-Broadway Credits include "Waiting In Line" and "Mind Sweep". She was cast in the role of Aisha (alongside Aiden Quinn), in a feature film. She's a member of The Flea Theater- run by Jim Simpson, & a proud co-founder of Price of Silence (Women's Rights Theatrical Group). She brings her extensive experience with her to her role in "What They'll Remember". 

Rachel Navarro (Heather)

Rachel Navarro is an actor & writer, born and raised in The Bronx. She developed an interest in acting/theater as a teen. She began working on student films. Shortly thereafter, she was cast in her first feature; "The Delivery Man", Starring Vince Vaughn. She played one of his children. This only confirmed her love for acting! She earned her degree in theatre in 2015, from BMCC. Her onstage credits include "Reasons To Be Pretty", "The Fairytale Project" and "Waiting for Lefty". She wants to thank her professors Diane Dowling & Lori Kee for their guidance. She attributes their training to landing and portraying (what she considers) her most challenging role to date- Her character in "What They'll Remember".

Jessica Sylvester (Bianca)

Jessica Sylvester was born with a love for the arts. Her career is well-rounded. In addition to her acting experience, such as performing with The Magnet Theater Improv Group- she also models and dances. She graced the stage (this past Fall) for "NYC Fashion Week", was featured in "She" magazine, and modeled for Robin Richey. Some of her dancing background includes: performing with "Escencia Latina" in Philadelphia, being cast as a dancer for the annual production of the play "Sing" (for 3 years) & being featured in the "West Indian Parade" in both Miami, Fl and Canada. Playing Bianca in "What They'll Remember", is a welcomed addition to an already distinguished lineup of performances. 

Lia Holman (Libby Galt)

 

Lia Holman is no stranger to the stage. She's been consistently making her mark! She's appeared in the following productions: "Brothers of the Night" (Sister of the Night)- Directed by World renown dancer/actress Debbie Allen, "Die Zoberflaute" (Queen of the Night), and Dreamgirls (Lorell). Musically, She is a classically trained singer. She has provided back up vocals for Stephanie Mills, and is receiving her Masters of Classical Voice from New York University. In addition to performing, Lia loves volunteering and working within her community. She considers it a joy to serve as a mentor to children. She brings all of her performing experience to her role in"What They'll Remember". 
 

Nellanna Mupier (Kathy)

 

Nellanna Mupier has extensive on-stage experience. Her New York Theater Credits, include: "Hairspray" (Dynamite/Ensemble) & "Lives on the Edge" (Rosa/Ensemble). Regionally: "The Wizard of Oz" (Auntie Em), "Big River" (Alice's Daughter), "The Drowsy Chaperone" (Trix The Aviatrix), "Violet" (Lula Buffington), "Rent" (Joanne Jefferson/Seasons of Love Soloist) & "Working" (Cleanin' Woman). She is the lead voice in the Mass Health Plan Commercial. On the training side, she's studied voice with Angela Gooch (Musical Theater), Jose Delgado (Pop, R&B), Mark Manley (Classical) & Adrienne Dobson (Dance- Modern/Jazz). She has a Master of Public Health from Texas A&M University & a Bachelor of Science from Prairie View A&M. She adds to her list of accomplishments"What They'll Remember".
